What I like most about being a SLP: I’m passionate about helping children and families on their journey towards growth while emphasizing the importance of compassion, parent education, and incorporating a child’s strengths and individual differences into a personalized, holistic therapy approach.
My hobbies include: writing poetry and playing guitar, violin, and viola.
A fun fact about me: I toured in China with an orchestra that was the first orchestra to perform on the Great Wall of China.
If I could have any super power, it would be: being able to fly.

Areas of training & expertise: Karrie’s treatment techniques for both telehealth and in-clinic therapy combine principals of Relationship Development Intervention (RDI) and DIR/Floortime into a therapy approach that highlights the importance of building intrinsic motivation for communication and learning by connecting through relationship, highlighting success, and building confidence.
